The bar members here Friday offered Ghaibana Nimaz-e-Janaza for Osama bin Laden in Lahore High Court Bar Association premises. The members of Khatam-e-Nabovat Lawyers Forum and Al-Uma Lawyers forum participated in the Ghaibana Nimaz-e-Janaza. Muhammad Yahya Johar of Khatam-e-Nabovat Lawyers Forum led the prayers.
Prominent participants on the occasion included former judges Hafiz Abdur Rehman Ansari, Mian Shahid Iqbal, Punjab Bar Council members Chaudhry Zulfiqar and Latif Sara, senior lawyers AK Dogar, Rai Nawaz Kharral and others. They also addressed the participants and demanded to declare Usama Shaheed-e-Umat as he lost his life during Jihad. They were of the view even if Usama was a terrorist then he should have had been tried under the relevant law.
