A lawyer Waqar Ahmad Chaudhry has approached the Lahore High Court (LHC) requesting to direct Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) to telecast speech of opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar in national assembly. Petitioner alleged that the PTV preferred the members from treasury bench in coverage of Parliament proceedings and was not telecasting the opposition leader speech.
He requested that the secretary information and MD PTV should be directed to give impartial coverage of Parliament session.
