KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Suhail Anwar Sial on Sunday strongly condemned the suicide blast near the gate of a Church in Quetta. In a statement, he directed the Sindh Police to step up security measures in the province.
He instructed that security at all the important places be strengthened further including the places of worship of minorities.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police Sindh, A.D. Khawaja, has directed that security in the province be made foolproof in the wake of the Quetta Church blast.
He said that random snap checking, patrolling and other security steps be made more effective and intelligence-based action against crimes be intensified.
The IGP instructed that security at Churches and other places of worship be beefed up.
