Investigators conducting probe into the audacious attack on PNS Mehran Base have decided to interrogate US engineers working at the base, Aaj News reported. Quoting unnamed sources privy to the investigation, the channel said that the investigators were of the opinion that the attack on PNS Mehran was not possible without internal support and they suspected that US engineers provided this support, which ultimately led to the audacious attack on the base.
According to the channel, Sindh police have not been allowed to visit PNS Mehran till date. Quoting the sources the channel claimed that Pakistan Navy has decided to appoint a senior officer as co-ordinator and after that Sindh police would be allowed to visit PNS Mehran.
