A businessman accused some high ranked officials of Capital Police of being involved in minting money and siding with one of the two parties fighting for ownership of a company that would not only lead to closure of the company, but would also render hundreds of workers jobless.
"Police officers has done undue favour to one parties and deprived the other of millions of rupees," Tariq Masood, Chief Executive of British Biscuit Company (pvt) Ltd said at a press conference here on Tuesday. He alleged ASP Faisal Bashir Memon, DSP Ashraf Shah of Islamabad police and their crony constable Javed Rana Javed for conniving with Chaudhry Nazir, whom he said has usurped his money, besides moving the court against him.
Tariq Masood said, he being Chief Executive and his son Adnan Tariq as Director, held 100 percent shares of the company - 85 and 15 respectively. But, their shares squeezed to modest 25 percent after they partnered with Chaudhry Nazar and his son Kashif Nazar, giving them 75 percent shares. He said they were forced to opt for the partnerships as they had to pay off a bank loan worth Rs 63,030,368, which was paid by Chaudhry Nazar.
Tariq Masood said as per the terms, Chaudhry Nazar had to pay him Rs 30 million, which he did not pay and gave him five cheques for the payment that were dishonoured by the bank. He accused Chaudhry Nazar has an organised a group that is being backed of some of high police officials. They also kidnapped my brother and held him hostage for around eight days. FIR was lodged with the police, but to no avail. He said Chaudhry Nazar and his accomplices were continuously conspiring against him for their malicious designs. He appealed to the Chief Justice, the Prime Minister and the President to take notice of the issue and save him from being robbed by his opponents and police officers as well.
