Balochistan doctors on Tuesday called of their strike after successful rounds of talk with the parliamentary committee formed to resolve the issue. Announcement to this effect was made during the meeting of Young Doctors Association (YDA) with the Chief Minister Balochistan here at CM Secretariat.
Provincial cabinet members, the representatives of senior doctors and PMA Balochistan were also present on the occasion. Balochistan government had detained over 200 doctors besides lodging FIR against the plenty of the young doctors who had gone to scuffle with the police during their protest for the raise of their salaries and other demands. The Chief Minister formed parliamentary committee comprising the Balochistan ministers and MPAs to sit with the protesting doctors and find the amicable solution to the issue.
