A tri services training seminar on 'Threat and Security Challenges' was organised here at the Malir Garrison on Friday. An ISPR press release said that the Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Muhammad Zahir ul Islam, was the chief guest on the occasion.
It said that the seminar was part of a series of activities aimed at analysing the latest development in security environment and updating the officers about current threat spectrum and challenges. A panel of experts and senior officers from intelligence services, Pakistan Rangers and Sindh Police presented the conceptual dynamics of threat with a view to draw short and long-term measures.
The commander in his concluding remarks thanked the panel members. He dilated upon the canvas of threat and its dynamics and the absolute need for a joint and synergised response. A large numbers of officers from all three services of armed forces, Pakistan Rangers and Sindh Police were benefited from this training seminar.
