A fire broke out in a shopping plaza located in Shah Alam market due to short circuit. The Fire Brigade reached the spot soon after the incident. However, their efforts were hampered because of congested area. Nearby buildings were also evacuated because it was feared that the fire might spread. The fire was extinguished after five hours, which broke out in a warehouse and spread to the fifth floor of the plaza. However, estimate of the damages could not be made.
