Ibad urged to reconsider decision

Farhatullah Babar, Spokesperson of President Asif Ali Zardari, has said that the PPP will urge Sindh Governor to reconsider his decision to resign. Responding to media queries, the spokesperson said that the president was in the UK and the reported resignation of the Governor had not yet been received by his office.
Farhatullah Babar further said that the issues facing the country and particularly the Sindh province were too many and complex and called for strengthening, instead of weakening, the on-going policy of reconciliation with all political forces in the country. The spokesperson expressed the hope that the Sindh Governor would reconsider the decision to resign in the larger interest of political stability in the country, the welfare of the people of the province and continue to strengthen the reconciliation efforts.-PR
