Chairman National Vocational & Technical Education Commission (NAVTEC) M. Mumtaz Akhtar Kahloon has announced that NAVTEC will provide funds for the construction of rooms for the calligraphy institute run by Pakistan Calligraph Artist Guild near Gaddafi Stadium.
He was addressing the certificate distribution ceremony of the calligraphy course sponsored by NAVTEC for the students of Pakistan Calligraph Artist Guild. The ceremony was attended by Patron in Chief Pakistan Calligraph Artists Guild and former bureaucrat Muhammad Ather Tahir, President of the Guild Irfan Ahmed Khan, Director (Research) NAVTEC Ambreen Iftikhar was also present on the occasion. Kahloon said that both provincial; and federal governments should focus on imparting technical education to the unemployed youth. He said that NAVTEC is trying to establish centres of excellence of technical education in the country.
