The Institute of Business and Finance (IBF) collaborates with WWF Pakistan to help develop the students in, to work for the betterment of the environment.
According to a press release issued by the Institute of Business and Finance here on Wednesday, World Wide Fund for Nature-Pakistan (WWF-P) works to address the growing environmental and conservation issues in Pakistan that not only affected the flora and fauna, but were also affecting the human population. From the jagged, snow-covered mountains in the north to the deep waters of the Arabian Sea, Pakistan contains a diverse topography of geographical features. Because of this, it is home to an incredible diversity of flora and fauna.
"I am proud to announce that the Institute of Business and Finance is collaborating with WWF-P, a world-wide known organisation, for development of the students and to help serve the nature not only in Pakistan but on a global level. Though we work for the development of students in the field of finance and accountancy, through this programme we shall work for diversifying their schools of thought and think like an accountant as well as a naturist. Another angle of this internship is that ACCA students require practical experience for becoming an ACCA member and this internship will help students to easily achieve it once they enter the corporate environment. This is one opportunity that will provide the students with dual benefits. It is an honour for the IBF to become a part of this programme." said Imran Baig, Director, the Institute of Business and Finance.
"The purpose for the existence of WWF is to help serve the nature and this is exactly our aim in Pakistan as well. We are serving the nature and that is not only by working us for the environment but also helping to develop the human resource to serve the same purpose. Students play a key role in this idea and eco internship is launched to convert this idea into reality.-PR
