A recent incident on Friday night in Los Angeles (L.A.) freaked out the citizens, leading any people to believe the occurrence as a ‘UFO’ sighting.

Streaks of lights were seen across L.A.’s blue sky, which startled and scared the people. Many people pulled over their cars to take pictures and make videos of the strange happening. However, it turned out that the object seen in the sky was just Elon Musk’s SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket launch.

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base and was carrying 10 satellites to low-Earth orbit. Though the officials already warned that the launch would be seen across Southern California and beyond, yet the bizarre sighting stunned the people, reported Los Angeles Times.

The Los Angeles Fire Department too put out an advisory stating that the ‘mysterious lights in the sky’ was from the Vandenberg launch, wrote Express.co.

Many startled and curious people took to social media immediately, assuming that aliens were finally making their debut. One user thanked Musk for the ‘alien’ experience to which Musk jokingly replied, “It was definitely aliens”. You can watch the video and pictures here.
