The National Implementation Watch Committee (NIWC) will launch a web-based national database to provide access to the latest developments about implementation of Anti-Sexual Harassment Act 2010 on Tuesday. NIWC Chairperson Fauzia Saeed told APP on Monday that the database would have complete information of both public and private organisations which have complied with the law.
After completing the process of implementation at federal level, the NIWC is endeavouring to ensure adoption of code of conduct at the provincial level. A notification from the Prime Minister's Secretariat has been issued to all the Chief Ministers to comply with the legislation, she said. All the provincial Women Development Departments are actively participating to implement the law at grassroots level.
