In charge PM's camp office Multan MPA Syed Ahmed Mujtuba Gilani and Senator Malik Salahuddin Dogar distributed cheques among 82 women amounting Rs 150,000 to each already elected after balloting draw in "Waseela-e-Haq" scheme of Benazir Income Support Programme, says a press release issued here on Monday.
The cheques distribution ceremony held at Raza Hall Multan, participated by 82 beneficiary women. MPA Mujtuba Gilani who graced the occasion as chief guest said that Shaheed Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto wanted to empower the poor, adding that BISP was launched in line with her vision. He said that the programme is heading forward successfully and it is also being upgraded to extend maximum relief to the poor, adding that "Waseela-e-Haq", "Waseela-e-Rozgar", Life Insurance and Health Insurance programmes would surely help change economic condition of the poor.-PR
