Raw sugar futures surged on Tuesday, nearing last week's four-month high due to worries over a smaller Brazilian crop, while cocoa and coffee clawed higher in line with a recovering commodity complex. New York's October raw sugar contract increased 0.38 cent trade at 27.63 cents per lb at 1:11 p.m. EDT (1711 GMT). New York's September cocoa contract gained $72 to close at $3,227 per tonne. ICE September arabica futures rose 5.40 cents to trade at $2.6905 per lb.
