Abid Zawawi has been appointed Commissioner (Appeals) of Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), Business Recorder learnt on Wednesday. Following the approval of the authorities, the appointment order of Abid Zawawi was issued on 6th July (Wednesday).
Sources told BR that any person, other than the Board or any of its officers, aggrieved by any decision or order passed under section 13, 18,19 or 38 by an officer of the SRB may, within 30 days of the date of receipt of such decision or order, file an appeal with the Commissioner (Appeals) of SRB.
The Commissioner (Appeals) SRB may, upon application in writing by the appellant, admit an appeal after the expiry of the period specified in sub section (4) and if the Commissioner (Appeals) is satisfied that the appellant was prevented by valid cause from lodging the appeal within that period, sources added.
