The Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) views friendship with China more prudent, and believes that the tie with the United State of America is not in the interests of Pakistan. PTI provincial leaders Ahsan Rashid and Dr Shahid Siddique Khan on Wednesday said that unlike the US, China is a tested and trustworthy friend of Pakistan.
"Improved relations with China will not only ensure national security but would also resolve electricity problem in the country. China is ready to provide electricity at low cost, which will help in ending load shedding in the country," they said. They said experience of past few months suggests that America's continuous policy of blackmailing may put the key national institutions and assets of Pakistan in danger. They emphasise for improved strategic and trade relations with China, which in their opinion will strengthen the country.
