Rice, Khandsari prices up on grain market

Rice and Khandsari prices were higher on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in process of low trading, dealers said. On the cereal side, wheat old and new Bardan were lower by Rs 15 to Rs 2625-2640 owing to easy supply position, Khandsari, however, gained Rs 500 to Rs 8000, other commodity items did not show any change during the day, they said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh rose by Rs 500 to Rs 3800-3900, other types held the overnight levels, they said.
