South Asia Free Media Association (SAFMA) on Friday organised a programme in connection with death anniversary of poet Munir Niazi to pay glowing tributes to him for his great contribution to Urdu and Punjabi poetry. Allama Siddiq Azhar, Anjum Rashid, Sughra Sadaf, Intizar Hussain, Sarfraz Syed, Sofia Bedar and others were present on the occasion.
Speakers said that Munir Niazi was a great Punjabi poet and would always be remembered for his great contributions to the literature.
