RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 21,243.98 points with a positive change of 16.19 and volume of 124,022,000 shares. High and Low were 21,406.14 and 21,011.13 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 16 were up, 13 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 178,175,050 shares. Total companies traded were 344 of which 186 were positive, 144 were negative and 14 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 30,224,800 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 23,166,410 shares.
