The Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Tuesday released 255,029 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 262,466 cusecs. According to the data released by Irsa here, the maximum water level in River Indus at Tarbela was 1441.92 feet which was 63.92 feet above its dead level of 1,378 feet.
Water inflow was recorded as 148,500 cusecs in the dam while outflow was recorded as 150,000 cusecs. The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 213,381, 191,807 and 119,410 cusecs respectively. The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla was 1187.60 feet which is 147.6 feet above its dead level of 1,040 feet whereas the inflow was recorded as 23,937 and outflow of water in the dam was recorded as 15,000 cusecs. Similarly, from River Kabul a total of 35,700 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 54,329 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
