It was hosted by the university and was attended by leaders of all mother parties of student wings, noted intellectuals, scholars and educationists throughout the province.
He said that some irrelevant persons, having wastage interests, want to sabotage these efforts made by the university to bring peace at the campus for education excellence. He informed that the monitoring committee, in its second meeting, finalised a code of conduct signed by the nominees of all political parties, noted intellectuals, scholars and educationists and the same is in process for implementation with full sprit.
He said that all those factors that do not want peace at the campus arranged so called APC to create misunderstanding among education lovers and all those who dream for peace at the university and added that holding APC by irrelevant persons is highly condemnable action.
The spokesman also clarified that the university has sanctioned around rupees 1.4 million for 817 male and female students of flood-affected areas and for meritorious students on the basis of poverty cum merit, and the cheques of the amount have already handed over through the concerned departments.
