The suspension of the US aid is a puff of cool breeze for the Pakistani nation that should motivate the policy-makers in Islamabad to walk out of the US slavery and its "Do More" biddings, the Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General, Liaquat Baloch, said here on Tuesday.
Talking to delegations at Mansoora, he said, the US aid was actually the price Washington had been paying to the rulers in Islamic countries for usurping their independence and sovereignty. This aid was never used for the Muslim masses' welfare but was the bribe paid to the rulers for serving the US interests. He said it was high time for Islamabad to put off the yoke of US slavery and strengthen relations with our trusted friend, China. Liaquat Baloch impressed upon the people to prevail upon their rulers not to accept US assistance in the future.
He said the lavish spending of the Pakistani rulers had broken the back of the people. The rulers secured foreign loans to meet their luxurious livings. The JI leader further said that the US before leaving Afghanistan, the US would try to install India as regional Policeman and force the neighbouring countries to accept India's hegemony. In such a situation, he said, Pakistan should be alert its forces on the borders and also be vigilant of the agents of the CIA, RAW and Mosad within the country.
