The Swiss franc hovered near its record highs against the dollar and euro on Friday, as investors took stock ahead of Europe-wide bank stress tests after a week of hefty gains. At 0710 GMT, the franc ticked 0.2 percent lower against the dollar compared to the New York close, trading at 0.8169.
Against the euro the franc was holding in a tight range, trading at 1.1543 per euro. The franc hit new record peaks of 0.8080 against the dollar and 1.1494 against the euro on Thursday, according to trading platform EBS.
