Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Q and senior federal minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said that all Utility Stores outlets in the country will establish separate facilitation counters for women while seven new Utility Stores counters will be set up at press clubs of the country's seven big cities in the holy month of Ramazan.
This was stated by him at a meeting with a group of media representatives, including the presidents of Lahore and Multan Press Clubs, Sarmad Bashir and Shakeel Anjum on Monday.
Elahi told the visiting journalists that he had imposed ban on transfers in the Utility Stores Corporation during Ramazan.
He expressed the hope that the journalists' community would lend full support in the implementation of these decisions and promptly report any inconvenience caused to customers. He assured stern action in the light of such media reports.
