Unidentified armed men attacked and injured Saleem Jadoon, leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N Balochistan, on Patail Road of the provincial capital on Wednesday. "Unknown gunmen riding a bike opened fire on Saleem Jadoon, injuring him and escaped," police said. The victim was rushed to Civil Hospital and later referred to Combined Military Hospital Quetta.
According to doctors, Jadoon received two bullet injuries, one in his neck and the other at his chest. He was stated to be in very serious condition. He visited the party office on Patail Road. The cause behind the attack could not be ascertained.
