AJK Legislative Assembly: Prime Minister congratulates newly elected Speaker, Deputy Speaker

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has congratulated Sardar Ghulam Sadiq and Ms Shaheen Kausar Dar for being elected as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Azad jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. The prime minister expressed confidence that both of them will run the legislative business of the Assembly according to the rules.
He also said that the continuation of the democratic process would ensure that the problems of the people would be resolved as per their needs. The prime minister termed the victory of the Pakistan People's Party as the manifestation of the confidence reposed by the Kashmiri people in the policies of PPP. Sardar Ghulam Sadiq, Speaker AJ&k legislative Assembly had been the Advisor to the Chairman of AJ&K Council earlier.
