The memorable evening got over with auspicious finals and award ceremony of 9th Royal Rodale Summer Bowling Tournament 2011 in the history of bowling in Pakistan at the 12 lane international standard Bowling Alley of Royal Rodale Club.
Over 60 players participated in this year's tournament which is divided into three categories - open masters, youth and beginners. Top Seed Shabbir Lashkarwala became the first man to win the coveted 9th Royal Rodale Summer Bowling Tournament 2011 by scoring avg 189 and defeated Hasnain Rangoonwala in Knock out Final.
Shabbir Lashkarwala (winner), Hasnain Rangoonwala (runners up), Muhammad Imran (3rd position) and Usman Ghani (4th position) were the finalist in Youth (Under 25) and Hasnain Rangoonwala awarded for the High Scorer 223, Muhammad Fazil Mania (Runners up), Sadaqat Ali (3rd position) and Ahmer Abbas Saldera (4th position) leaded the tournament in Youth (Under 25).
The players were awarded with cash prizes till 12th position in each category along with the prestigious trophies. The well-managed events remained the catch of media through number of channels for significant support. Asghar Ali Rangoonwala, Managing Director, Royal Rodale Club pleased the tournament with his gracious presence as a chief guest. He said that "we pride ourselves as pioneers and promoters of bowling in Pakistan."
For the past 8 years, Royal Rodale is organising different bowling tournaments for all age groups especially for the youth. The core purpose behind such tournaments is to promote the game of Bowling in Pakistan. Huge cash prizes, trophies and free bowling games presented to all the winners plus lot of other bumper gifts will be distributed through a grand lucky draw during this three-day mega tournament.-PR
