Dozens of lawyers here Friday took out a rally Friday under the banner of Save Judiciary Committee (SJC) to express solidarity with the Supreme Court, demanding the federal government to implement court orders. Chairman SJC, Abdul Rashid Qureshi led the rally, which marched to GPO Chowk at the Mall Road. The lawyers were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of judiciary and against the federal government.
The participants chanted slogans against President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani and stayed there for half and hour. Muhammad Nawaz Gondal, Raja Zulqurnain and other lawyers participated in the rally.
