Sindh Government would issue appointment letters to 107 successful candidates of Deputy District Officers (DDOs) and Section Officers (SOs) within next couple of days following the verdict of Sindh High Court (SHC). The SHC has directed the provincial government to issue appointment letters to the candidates, who had cleared Provincial Public Service Commission exams for the post of DDOs and SOs within three days.
Sources told Business Recorder that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah had signed the summary so that the services and general administration department would issue appointment letters within next couple of days. It is pertinent to mention here that Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) had declared 107 candidates successful on 26th January 2011 along with four candidates of District Food Controllers (DFCs), six of Labour Officers (LOs), four Assistant Directors (Labour department) and four Assistant Registrars (ARs) of Co-operative Housing Societies.
But, Sindh government did not issue appointment letters to the 107 successful candidates of DDOs and SOs despite the passage of more than five months. While, the successful candidates of DFCs, LOs, ADs and ARs were issued appointment letters after announcement of the result.
