The monthly board meeting of Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) was held at CBC main office. Station Commander/President CBC Brigadier Anis Ahmed, who is also the President of Cantonment Board Clifton, presided at the meeting. Director Military Land and Cantonments Karachi Region Khawaja Ifthikhar Ahmed Mir was also present on the occasion with Executive Officer Mr Muhammad Hayat Mahar, nominated member Aziz Suharwardi, Lieutenant Colonel Abrar Hussain and others.
According to detail, the agenda was taken seriously and the board approved the plan to repair many roads and footpaths of DHA. Brigadier Anis Ahmed said the poor citizens would get their legal rights, he also instructed to resolve the problems of sewerage and street lights soon.
He also asked to work in close co-ordination with CBC and DHA as per bye-laws, he directed the concerned authorities to collect tax efficiently and to take action against tax evasion by imposing and implementing laws more effectively. Khawaja Iftikhar Ahmed Mir (DML&C) Karachi Region directed the CBC officers to improve the performance to provide hassle-free services to the resident and he emphasised on delivering the best possible and civic services to the resident of CBC.
