PESHAWAR: Chairman Qaumi Watan Party Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao said that all the political entities of the country should play their role for protecting rights of tribal people and bringing them in national mainstream.
He was addressing a public gathering after inauguration of sui-gas provision project in Ali Jan Village of district Charsadda.
Sherpao said that all the arrangements for FATA merger in KP should be finalized till January 2018 adding delay of the matter would produce negative impacts. He said that it would be unwise to do politics on FATA merger.
Regarding delimitation, Aftab Sherpao said that no increase have been made in provincial and national assembly’s seats according to latest census adding that leaving the matter in limbo would end the utility of the whole exercise.
He said that it would also increase deprivation of smaller provinces.
He said that despite major contribution of Khyber Pakthunkhwa in production of gas and electricity, people of the province are subjected to unnecessary load-shedding.
He also criticized PTI saying the party has failed to deliver in KP and ignored its pledges made to public during election 2013.
He said that true face of PTI has known to public and people would rejects its candidates in next coming elections.
