Former puppet chief minister and Peoples Democratic Party Patron, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed has said that the government of India has realised that it cannot win over Kashmir by force. According to Kashmir Media Service, Mufti Sayeed while addressing a gathering at TRC ground in Occupied Srinagar said, "More than 115 youth sacrificed their lives last year.
Government of India has realised it cannot win Kashmir through bullet or force and it has to move from the stated position." He said that there is an atmosphere of siege in the occupied territory and people are being killed and put behind bars while cases have been registered against more than 5,000 youth of the valley.
PDP President, Mehbooba Mufti on the occasion said that her party's aim is peace building in Kashmir and resolution of the issue.
