No deduction of Zakat at source will be made, in case the amount is less than Rs 61,330 in account on first day of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak 1433-AH. According to a notification issued by Ministry of Religious Affairs, Zakat Cell on Monday, in exercise of the powers conferred by the provisions contained in column 4 of serial No 1 of the First Schedule to the Zakat and Ushr Ordinance, 1980 (XVIII of 1980), it is hereby notified that for the Zakat year 1431-32 AH, ending on the last day of Sha'aban-ul-Muazzam 1432 AH.
No deduction of Zakat at source shall be made, in case the amount standing to the credit of an account in respect of the assets mentioned in column 2 of serial No 1 of the said schedule is less than Rs 61,336 (Rs 61,330 only) on the first day of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak, 1433 AH (1st or 2nd August, 2011), being the deduction date for such assets.
