President Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) Seth Goharullah has urged all members of the HCCI to actively participate in the upcoming elections of the trade union. In a press statement issued on Monday, he said that the HCCI's general body has approved and announced the election schedule, which will be held in September 2011.
The polling for six corporate and six associate members of the executive committee would be held on September 22 while the nominate papers for those seats would be accepted from August 27 to 30. The elections for the seats of president, senior vice president and vice president will be held on September 27. An elections commission comprising senior members of the Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) Mehmood Ahmed, Naeem Aslam and Syed Afroz Ali has been formed. The election schedule and other related details have been sent through post to all members of the HCCI, it added.
