The Punjab Government will launch 'Quaid-e-Azam Life Time Achievement Award' in recognition of meritorious services of legends. The Chief Minister Punjab has already approved a summary in this regard. According to details, this prestigious award will be given in the field of visual art (Fine Arts, Crafts, Architecture Design), performing arts (Theater, TV, Cinema & Music) and language and literature to the living legends who have served in their fields.
A total of ten awards will be given while each award will consist of Rs one million. The award will be given every year. A selection committee will be constituted to select the most suitable candidates for this award. The selection committee will comprise academia, artistes, literary figures, elected representatives and representatives of NGOs.
