As many as 17 more houses have been vacated in the Government Officer Residence-1 (GOR-1) in Lahore. Out of these 17 houses vacated till 31 July, 13 were in the possession of District Management Group (DMG) Officers, two Police Service Officers while one vacated house was occupied by the an ex-Army General.
According to details, among the DMG Officers who have vacated the houses includes Mian Ijaz, Khalid Sultan, G.M. Sikandar, Iftikhar Ahmad, Suleman Ghani, Tariq Ayub, Iqbal Ahmad, Taimur Azmat Osman, Liaqat Niazi, Shahzad Hassan Pervaiz, Shafiq Hussain Bokhari and Shahid Hussain Raja. The three PSP Officers included Zia ul Hassan Khan, Ahmad Nasim and Azhar Hassan Nadeem while one house has been vacated by Lieutenant General Sabahat Hussain (Retd). It is expected that seven more houses will also be vacated during this month.
