Sachin Tendulkar was still left searching for an unprecedented 100th international century after falling lbw for 56 to James Anderson on the fourth day of the second Test against England at Trent Bridge here on Monday. 'The Little Master', whose 51 Test centuries and 48 in one-day internationals are both world records, produced his best innings of the series so far with several trademark straight drives among his eight boundaries.
But the 38-year-old Tendulkar, applauded on and off the field by a near capacity crowd, was undone by a good length inswinger from Anderson, who has now taken his wicket seven times in eight Tests.
