A delegation of Old Ravians Union (ORU) on Wednesday called on Government College University (GCU) Lahore Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman and discussed the historical significance, traditions and future of the 148-year-old educational institution.
The ORU delegation was led by former federal secretary Qazi Afaq, while ORU Honorary Secretary Dr Khalid Manzoor Butt and the youngest member of ORU Executive Committee Taha Sadaqat were also present. Speaking on the occasion, GCU VC Professor Dr Khaleeq-ur-Rahman said that the GC University Lahore has strong cultural traditions, which play a vital role in personality development of students. The Old Ravians Union members assured the VC of their co-operation and support for development of their alma mater.-PR
