Punjab Education foundation (PEF) has finalised all arrangements to expand its Foundation Assisted Schools (FAS) programme in seven more districts to accommodate poor students by providing them free quality education. It was stated by PEF Chairman Raja Muhammad Anwar while presiding over a meeting to review the pace of expansion of educational programs on Wednesday. PEF-MD besides DMD (Operations) and DMD (Finance) were also present.
Raja Anwar, while expressing his satisfaction, said that PEF was rapidly working to launch the programme in new districts where it would provide quality educational facilities through interventions like Education Voucher Scheme (EVS), Foundation Assisted Schools (FAS) and the New Schools Programme (NSP).
