PML-N supports creation of provinces on administrative grounds

A special committee formed by PML-N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif, on the proposal of creation of new provinces, has finalised its recommendations that would be presented before the party's top leadership for approval, Business Recorder learnt on Friday.
The special committee has held three meetings during the last five days. The PML-N committee has recommended formation of new provinces on solely administrative grounds opposing creation of provinces on ethnic and racial basis. The committee evolved that division based on ethnic and racial basis would be detrimental to the interests of the country. The committee observed that any formation based on ethnic and racial basis would further create problems among the provinces and that is why a package should be presented for the formation of new provinces on administrative basis.
