Emirates Airline on August 6 held its annual Travel Agents Workshop with the objective to train and educate the travel agents on different Emirates products and services. The participants were briefed in detail about Emirates products including Emirates Holidays, Skywards, etc along with Emirates' new policies, fares and special product packages.
The event saw participation of over 100 representatives from some leading travel agencies of Pakistan including Polani Travels, American Express, Oasis, Gerrys, Bukhari Travels, Bond Travels, etc along with representation from select corporate clientele. The workshop was designed in a souk-style setup where the travel agents were divided into Emirates' recently launched destinations for the current fiscal, including Geneva, Copenhagen and Baghdad and also soon to operate destinations such as St. Petersburg, Basra, Buenos Aires, etc.
The participants also got the opportunity to interact with the trainers at different stalls and win free prizes through quiz competitions. The programme was targeted towards educating individuals from various travel agencies responsible for making corporate and customer travel bookings about the role of travel agents as well as Emirates' newest products.
Through this event Emirates intended to acknowledge its agency clientele and create greater awareness through one-on-one interaction regarding the function of Emirates as their valued airline partner. Commenting on the occasion, Badr Abbas, Vice President Pakistan & Afghanistan, Emirates Airline said: "Emirates is a world renowned carrier that has always valued and respected the importance and role of travel agents in the aviation machinery. The workshop demonstrates our ongoing support for the travel agents who remain our valued business partner and we aim to further strengthen these relationships to develop win-win business synergies."-PR
