Pakistani authorities have completed formalities to extradite the most wanted terror suspect in the deadly 2002 Bali bombing to Indonesia. Indonesian al Qaeda operative Umar Patek is wanted in the deadly Bali bombings, who was arrested from Abbottabad in January 2011. Umar Patek is the suspected member of the al Qaeda linked rebel group Jemaah Islamiyah.
Sources in Foreign Office said that all the legal formalities had been fulfilled to extradite Patek. He was a close associate of the deceased Dulmatin, the man who allegedly made the bombs for the Bali attacks, including Noordin Top, another alleged mastermind of the bombings.Umar Patek had a $1 million bounty on his head.
