A meeting of federal ministers hailing from Sindh was held at the Presidency on Thursday and discussed in detail the current political situation in Sindh. It was decided that all political parties including, nationalists parties, will be consulted before a bill on the local government system is tabled in provincial assembly, Aaj News reported.
It was also decided that amendments to the said bill would be proposed in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Sindh, the channel said quoting unnamed sources. The meeting presided over by President Asif Ali Zardari was attended by Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, A. Rehman Malik, Moula Bakhsh Chandio, Ghous Bux Khan Mahar, Syed Khursheed Shah, Dr Asim Hussain and Syed Naveed Qamar. Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Rukhsana Bangash, Fouzia Habib, and spokesperson to the President Farhatullah Babar were also present.
