Higher Education Commission (HEC) scholar, Asim Gulzar has completed PhD from Imperial College London under Overseas Scholarship Programme (Phase-II). On his return, he has joined Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi (AAUR) as Assistant Director, Research/Lecturer.
He completed his research entitled "Studies on resistance and associated fitness costs in Lepidopetra to Bacillus Thuringiensis toxins" under the supervision of Professor D. J. Wright. During his studies, he has worked on integrated pest management and resistance management. He investigated the effect of different temperature and entomopathogenic nematodes on the fitness costs associate with the insecticide resistance.-PR
