PML-(F) Chief Pir Pagara has said that calling for strikes was not solution of the problems. "Strikes have negative effects on our economy and the country," he said while talking to ANP Sindh President Shahi Syed at Kingri House here on Friday. He said that a delegation of MQM will also be holding a meeting with him on Saturday about the political situation in the country and particularly in Karachi.
The PML-(F) chief said he was against the local bodies system and always favoured the commissionerate system. "I would also like to advise the MQM to support commissionerate system," he pointed out. In his brief comments to media persons, the ANP Sindh leader, Shahi Syed said that his party also wanted peace in Karachi and supports all government measures in this regard.
