The most-active November copper contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange fell 1.2 percent to close at 66,490 yuan per tonne on Tuesday. Elsewhere, Shanghai's third month zinc fell more than 3 percent to 16,600 yuan a tonne. It fell after hitting the day's high of 17,175 yuan, just above the 10-day moving average of 17,096 yuan.
