Former Wolves and Scotland defender Frank Munro has died following a heart attack, the English Premier League club confirmed Wednesday. He was 63. Munro represented Scotland nine times during his career but was most famous for his nine years at Wolves between 1968 and 1977, where he helped the club win the League Cup in 1974.
Munro, who was also a member of the Wolves team, which reached the UEFA Cup final in 1972, died on Tuesday, two days after suffering a heart attack. Former team-mates Dave Wagstaffe and Phil Parkes were at his hospital bedside during his final hours.
