Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has asked federal and provincial governments to announce cash awards for Pakistan U-16 soccer team for winning the final of South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship by defeating arch rivals India.
A spokesman of PFF has requested the Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and all the four provincial Chief Ministers to sanction special grant of Rs 10 million and 5 million each respectively for the U-16 team which has brought laurels for the nation by defeating arch rivals India in the final of South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship held at Dasrath Stadium Katmandu, Nepal.
