Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) committee comprising Mohsin Khan, Intikhab Alam and Zakir Khan formed to recommend names of players has recommended addition of Usman Salahuddin to the list of players being given the PCB central contracts (under Stipend Category). Chairman PCB has approved the recommendation, according to statement released by PCB media department on Wednesday.
Intikhab Alam, a member of the committee, said: Usman is a fine player and is performing consistently. In a review meeting his name came under discussion and it was agreed that he should be awarded PCB central contract. These young players are the future of Pakistan and an asset for PCB. With addition of Usman Salahuddin in the list, the total number of players who will receive central contracts is now 29.
